present

I got a present from Merlin and Halmark a couple days ago in the mail. Mom had to open everything up for me, but as soon as she did she showed it to me. It was the cutest little magnet with a dog on it that looks a lot like me!

Broke Toy

Mommy got me this AWESOME toy, and best of all it was free. It came out of a happy meal that one of the neighbors gave to mom - it was some sort of spiny disk thingy. Mom or dad pulled this cord and these ufo things went flying through the air and BOY did I love to chase them. I would tire myself out playing with that, funny thing is that mom or dad never got tired. I think that pulling that string wasn't as difficult as me running after the disks.

Well anyway, dad liked to pull the string really hard and make the disk fly really far. But last night dad pulled a little too hard and the string broke. So no more diskus toy unless mom goes to McDonalds and gets a happy meal (no onions, she hates onions)

So after my toy broke, mom went inside and got one of my squeaky toys - a little squeaky baseball - white so my mommy can see it inthe grass. I played with that for a bit, but got tired pretty quickly since daddy had been playing with me earlier.

Daddy's HOME!

My Daddy is home! YEAY. I've been making sure to get plenty of attention. Mom says that he's home for good, but I'm going to make sure that I get tons of love and attention from him. I missed my Daddy.

Buddies' Blogs

My friends, Ogre and Fiona, now have their very own blog: http://our-random-acts-of-doggyness.blogspot.com/

It's about time they joined in on the fun, that's all I can say.

My mom is all excited and semi-stressed. I think I've said this before, but the count down is getting smaller and smaller. Since dad is coming home really early in the morning, mom and I will not be sleeping before she goes to pick him up (unless it's a small nap, but that's IF she can get to sleep.) This also means that it will seem like he's coming home TOMORROW! This puppy could not get any more anxious. I'm constantly waiting by the door!

My Sister MeeKeeKee is getting very vocal. I think she's excited to have dad home as well. Maybe now she won't bother mom in the morning as much, since she'll have dad to demand attention from. I'll at least let him fully wake up before I start playing with him,

Just wake me up with this deployment is over.

Waiting Patiently until Daddy comes home. Come home soon Daddy, it's a *ruff* wait.

Dad's coming home!

My mom is all excited because My dad is coming home very soon! I am excited as well. I'll get regular "choking outs" now. Mom does it every once and a while, but no one can choke me out like dad! I'm trying to be patient, but I'm so excited! I can hardly wait.

Well kiddos, I'm off to visit my grandparents for the weekend in the country! I love it down there. They have a Min-Pin Puppy that keeps me on my toes, she's crazy! And I'll get to run around and have all sorts of fun. I'll try to remind mom to take the camera and get lots of pictures. I may post from there, or I may be too busy. If I don't post, I'll be back Monday Afternoon! Chow! (yum....chow)

Tagged

I have been tagged by my Purely Plutonic Playmate, Fiona, to list 5 or more things that are weird or unusual about me. A few things popped into my mind quickly, others I had to think about some - got distracted by a fly - and then had to think some more after the foe was vanquished.

1.) I believe there is a monster living inside every dishwasher, and I only find the strength to battle it when the monster is safely shut behind the dishwasher door. Grandma doesn't like me doing this, she says that I scratch her Dishwasher. Well I say that she needs to get rid of the monster. Who else is going to kill it but Waffles the Wonderful?

2.) I can get horrific gas that will clear a room. If I've been in the catfood, I can clear a whole house. It's funny to see the humans all run away with disgusted looks on their faces screaming "Oh GOD!" and "It wasn't me? Was it you? Well if it wasn't you, who? WAFFLES!"

3.) I chase low flying airplanes. How dare they invade my airspace! When I catch one, I'll show it who rules around here.

5.) Anything that squeaks must do so when my mom is on the phone. The more annoying the squeak is, the better.

6.) Cats are not to be in the front window! I help mom enforce this rule by telling on Pepper every time I see in there.

7.) Mom says I have Saddlebags - whatever that means.

8.) Nothing feels better on a hot day than laying on top of the Air Conditioning vent at Grandma and Grandpa's.

9.) When I'm full of energy and mom won't take me outside, I make my own fun and exercise by running circles in the house, and richoting off of the back of the futon. This really freaks the cats out sometimes, but Mom and Dad think it is hilarious.

10.) I adore any alliteration. I'll use it as often as appropriate. It's a poetic technique that I've picked up from Mom. But of course, I've been told to "Always Avoid Alliteration, Always."

Well, there it is. I've come up with 10 things when the challenge was for 5. See mom, I am an over achiever when I want to be. But now it's time for a nap on the futon. I'll squeeze inbetween MeeKeeKee and Pepper and take up the whole futon, so mom can't lay down on it.
